      Department of English is coeval with founding of the college in 2015. The Dept. offers BA English Program of the University of Calicut. Currently there are two permanent faculty members and two guest faculty working in the department. Literary Club and Research forum meetings held once in a fortnight offer the students platform to unleash their creative and critical impulses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Department of Islamic History started in the year 2015 with B.A Programme in Islamic History, Economics and Political science as complementary courses. At the initial stage there were 45 students and one teaching faculty in the department, at present there are 140 students and three faculty members. The department also provide an open course in \u201cIslamic Economics and Banking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Aims and Objectives of the Course<\/strong>
      1. To familiarize the students with the history of Islam, its Empires, and Greatness and of the decay, unrolling one of the richest and most instructive panoramas in history.
      2. To introduce history with its theory and method
      3. Familiarize the Arab World and its socio religious political issues<\/p>\n\n\n\n
